Library of Confliction

Identical in features,
opposite in perception,
one believes an omen
to foretell of coming good,
the other believes an omen
to foretell coming doom.
The pair of breathing bookends
is a library of confliction.
If wondering if a particular occurrence
is a sign of good or evil,
it would be more productive
to simply flip a coin.

but in the end isn't the entire life on earth reduced to flipping a coin? in essence all is about yin and yang :)
excellent post!

And mostly, good and evil are only flip sides of the same coin anyway! Perhaps the only influence on the coin tossed in the air, is the desire for it to land as 'good'. ♥
