Lady Temptress of the Moon

Lady Temptress
 of the moon
winks with
diamond eye
inviting me
to join her
 in enchantment.

I speak my
poetry to her,
voice growing bold
in indigo night’s
anonymity.
 The verses
escaping
the seclusion
of my thoughts.

“Come love
before I lock
my heart and
hide the key.
Patience has
grown tired
of me.”

With a starlight smile
she gathered the
wind to blow
me a kiss
speaking you
are always welcome
to share your soul.
Just step out
into the night.
I will be here
To listen.
